Charges

The Charges for a particular supply address depend on the type of meter at the property and the distribution zone. The meter type for a particular supply address will be able to be found on the back of your bill. Charges are subject to change. You can see our current charges here.

Want the certainty of electricity costs upfront?

With Builder Power, you can say goodbye to estimated reads. You’ll pay a flat rate for electricity usage and supply charges for each connection in your name for six months.

  • This is an optional offer that you can opt-in/out of at any time
  • No exit fees
  • We’ll remind you before your contract ends

Depending on your state and meter type, we’ll bill you monthly, or at the end of the six months. In this case, if the build finishes before the end of the six months we’ll work out the rate pro rata.

Agreement

When you click "Register":

  • You agree to the charges, terms and conditions displayed via the links above,
  • The agreement begins,
  • The ten business day cooling off period starts the next business day after you receive your copy of the agreement,

By clicking “Register” you agree to:

  • enter into agreements with Origin for the sale of electricity and natural gas;
  • Origin being able to vary the terms and conditions and also the nature, amount and structure of your Charges by notice; and
  • receive your agreement via the email address you have provided.

Your electricity and natural gas multisite agreements have commenced. The 10 business day cooling off period will begin the day after you receive a copy of your agreements by email.

You can also submit LPG connection requests for properties in Origin's LPG supply area.
